Law students from Lagos State University have won the National Inter Faculty Competition.
The Redeemers University in Osun State organised the competition, which drew participation from universities across the country.

The competition, titled ‘The Legal and Ethical Implications of Emerging Technology,’ was divided into four stages: essay, asynchronous discussion, memorial writing, and mooting.
The tournament included numerous rounds that tested players’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Kodjovi Daniel represented the school at the essay writing stage. LASU’s debate representatives were Aina Ayomide and Abdulquadri Ajeniya, while Bolajoko Animasaun and Akinrinde Fredrick represented LASU in the final rounds.
According to the report, the National Association of Nigerian Students held a southwest inter-tertiary debate and LASU won.
The ‘Clash of Thoughts’ competition featured candidates from the University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, Ekiti State University, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, Epe, among others.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced a N10 million incentive for Aminat Yusuf, LASU’s best-graduating student of the 2021/2022 academic session.
The grantee earned a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 5.0 from the university’s Faculty of Law.
“As a token of her brilliance, I will be giving her a token donation of N5 million and the state government will give her an additional donation of N5 million,” Sanwo-Olu said when announcing the reward at the school’s convocation ceremony in Ojo.
