This was revealed in the new Open Doors Report, which was released on Monday, November 13 by the Washington-based Institute of International Education (IIE).
Despite the currency crisis, the number of Nigerians studying in the United States of America increased by 22.2 percent in a year, according to the data.
According to the data, Nigerian enrollment grew to 17,640 in the 2022/23 academic year, up from 14,438 the previous year.
According to the report, the US hosted 1.06 million overseas students throughout the academic year, a 12% increase over the previous academic year.
