Princess Modupé Ozolua is a Nigerian-American philanthropist and entrepreneur who was born into the Royal House of the Kingdom of Benin in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
Princess Ozolua started her first business at the age of 21 in Los Angeles, California before pioneering cosmetic surgery in Nigeria, West Africa in 2001 at the age of 27.
In 2003, she founded Empower 54, a US 501©3 to non-profit organization which provides humanitarian aid such as health, education, empowerment of women/girls and refugee programs to disadvantaged Africans across the Continent. His Emeritus Archbishop Desmond Tutu was the Patron of Empower 54.
On February 19th, 2023, the Office of the President of the United States of America presented Princess Modupé Ozolua with the US President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in celebration of her 19-year devotion to assisting humanity. President Joe Biden personally signed a letter from The White House and presented her with a certified award certificate.
