The list of authorized businesses and organizations in the UK that can sponsor skilled immigrants through the temporary worker immigration route has been updated lately.
Updated information on its website states that 99,856 approved businesses are currently included in the most recent list, which was updated on January 15, 2024. Compared to the 68,630 entities approved as of January 2023, this is a significant increase.
The list includes representation from a variety of industries, including media & advertising, engineering, technology, commerce, and education. The skilled worker path encompasses a number of different categories, including international athletes, global corporate mobility, skilled workers, creative workers, senior or expert workers, and charitable workers.
In an official note on its website, the UK government states, “This document lists worker and temporary worker sponsors. It includes information about the category of workers they’re licensed to sponsor and their sponsorship rating. The skilled worker route includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility: senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.”
