Victor Boniface Becomes Nigeria’s Second Most Expensive Player

After a great start for Bayern Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga this season, Super Eagles attacker Victor Boniface has become Nigeria’s second most expensive player.

According to the most recent Transfermarkt report, the Super Eagles star’s market worth has risen from €12 million to €40 million.

The Nigerian international is now the second-most expensive Nigerian player in the transfer market, trailing only Victor Osimhen.

Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen for €20 million from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the previous transfer window and has developed into one of Europe’s most feared strikers.

His seven goals and three assists in eight Bundesliga games earned him Player of the Month and Rookie of the Month honors in August and September, as well as nominations for Best Player of the Month in September.

With seven goals in eight games this season, the striker is third in the Bundesliga behind VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, who have 14 and nine goals, respectively.
