WATCH: Asake Thrills Crowd at Sold Out 19000-capacity US Concert

Asake, a Nigerian singer, performed at the 19000-capacity Barclays Centre in New York on Friday night as part of his ‘Work of Art’ US tour.

Asake, dressed as a biker, presented a fantastic performance from his enormous collection of popular songs.

The’m Ope’ hitmaker made a dramatic entrance with ‘Organise,’ one of his best-selling songs, before delivering an electrifying performance of ‘Lonely At The Top,’ a track off his most recent album.

One of the videos uploaded on social media showed Asake performing on stage with a newborn.

The crowd roared for more as Odumodublvck, Black Sherif, and Fireboy DML joined Asake on stage.

Also in attendance at the sold-out concert was Nana, the wife to Femi Otedola, the Nigerian business mogul.

Asake is thought to be the first Afrobeats performer to headline and sell out the Barclays Centre.

Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, has received great feedback from music fans since breaking into the spotlight.

He has also received a slew of honors for his work.

Upon the release of his debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ all 12 tracks occupied the top slots on Apple Music’s Top 100 chart in Nigeria.

At the 16th Headies Awards in Atlanta, he won the ‘Next Rated’ and ‘Album of the Year’ categories.
