Juliet Chidiebube Uka, a Chemistry graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, scored 324 in the recently conducted 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Uka graduated with honors from UNIZIK’s Department of Chemistry in 2021, with a first-class degree.
She stated that she sat for the 2024 UTME to study Medicine in order to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
Her publicly available results showed that she achieved an aggregate of 324 in UTME as she wants to re-enter university.
Her older brother, Obiora Uka, stated that his sister was determined to study medicine and surgery at any cost.
“She has shown resilience via outstanding performance. She has stated that her dream is to become a physician. This prompted her to retake the Jamb in 2024, where she received an aggregate score of 324,” he explained.
Obiora stated that her family hopes she would be able to fulfill her lifetime desire of becoming a medical doctor.
Meanwhile, users of the social media platform X have continued to receive candidate results from the recently finished 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s announcement, 1,402,490 candidates out of 1,842,464 did not score 200 out of 400.
Netizens have displayed the scores of several UTME applicants nationally who achieved 300 or higher.
Toro Shehu, the daughter of a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State, achieved a score of 348 out of 400.
