Innocent Ujah Idibia (born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria), best known as 2face Idibia or 2Baba, is a Nigerian musician, record producer, and businessman. He officially dropped the name Tuface and went by 2baba or Tu-baba as his stage name. He is one of Africa’s most ornate and fruitful Afro pop craftsmen. He is also one of Africa’s most bankable artisans.
For his melodic work, 2Face has received one MTV Europe Music Award, one World Music Award, five Headies Awards (Hip-bounce grant), four Channel O Music Video Awards, and one BET grant, four MTV Africa Music Awards, one MOBO grant, one KORA grant, and various other honors.
EARLY LIFE
Blameless Idibia was born in the Nigerian city of Jos. He is of the Idoma ethnic group from the southern part of Benue State in central Nigeria. In Makurdi, Benue State, he attended Saint Gabriela’s Secondary School. He enrolled in the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (IMT), where he completed his basic National Diploma degree in business organization and management. He performed at school and organized shows and gatherings while attending IMT, as well as other local schools such as the University of Nigeria and Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He eventually dropped out to pursue his musical career.
2face Idibia began creating and singing jingles at the GB Fan Club at Enugu State Broadcasting Services (ESBS) in 1996 while attending IMT.
In addition, in 1996, he was given the stage moniker “2Face” (Tuface). He described the reasoning as a “effort to isolate my personal living from my professional life.”
IN PLANTASHUN BOIZ
Plantashun Boiz had two successful albums, Body and Soul (2000) and Sold Out (2003), on Nelson Brown’s label (Dove Records) before disbanding in 2004. Relations were harmed for a long time, during which the band split and its members began their performing careers. Long after the “Fluster versus Tuface” hamburger split, the band reunited in 2007 to make their third and final studio album, Plan B. (2007).

SOLO CAREER
After Plantashun Boyz disbanded in 2004, the musicians searched for independent melodic occupations. 2face Idibia released his debut solo compilation Face 2 Face (2004), which established him as a capable independent artisan.
Following the release of his debut collection, he released his second collection, Grass 2 Grace, in 2006, which included the singles “One Love,” “Genuine Love,” and “4 Instance.” Hypertek Entertainment is his creation.

His song “African Queen” was used on the soundtrack for the film Phat Girlz, which was released worldwide in 2006.
In 2008, he released The Unstoppable, an advancement compilation that included the single “Enter the Place.” Due to collection dissemination issues in 2007, the collection’s discharge date was pushed back from 2008 to mid-2009. In 2010, 2face released a “global release” of the same album under the title The Unstoppable International Edition, making him the first Nigerian artist to have a properly estimated global collection.
2face released two more singles from the global edition of his Unstoppable compilation. The collection’s global release received two awards at the 2010 SoundCity Music Video Awards. He also received the Channel O Music Video Awards’ Best African Western award, as well as the MTV Africa Music Awards’ Best Male and Artist of the Year.
After quitting Kennis Music, he established his own record label, Hypertek Entertainment. He is a part of the Sony All African One8 Project, which includes seven different African musicians recording a solo with R. Kelly and Prince Lee titled “Hands Across the World.” He is the first non-Liberian to be named a privileged individual from the Liberian music culture in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of music in Africa. He has been appointed as the Nigerian Red Cross Society’s envoy.

FORTYFIED ALL-STAR TRIBUTE CONCERT
The FORTYfied All-Star Tribute Concert, abbreviated as #FORTYfied, was an elite player tribute performance composed by 2face Idibia to celebrate his 40th birthday and impact in Nigerian music. Basketmouth organized the STAR Lager Beer-sponsored show, which took place on September 20, 2015, at the Eko Hotel & Suites Convention Center. Dignitaries attended the show, which featured exhibitions by notable artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Timaya, D’banj, Sound Sultan, Patoranking, Vector tha Viper, Wande Coal, and Seyi Shay.
PERSONAL LIFE
2Face has had close calls with death, including gunfire from an armed robbery.
2Face Idibia and Annie Macaulay married in a private ceremony on May 2, 2012, in Lagos, Nigeria. 2face announced his nuptials on his Twitter page. Annie Macaulay and 2Face married on March 8, 2013 in Eket, Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. The pair also had a white wedding in Dubai on Saturday, March 23, 2013, with Nigerian and Ghanaian celebrities in attendance to witness the long-awaited union.
His significant other, Annie Idibia, August 17, 2015, declared that she has opened a stunner salon in Atlanta called BeOlive Hair Studio. 2face has 7 youngsters from 4 distinct ladies.
PHILANTHROPY
2Face has built up a NGO gotten 2Face Idibia Reach-Out Foundation. whose witticism is “administration to mankind”.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control appointed 2Face as an envoy in 2009. He released the song “Man Unkind” to raise awareness about the dangers of false and unsafe food and drugs in Nigeria.
