Chikadebia Nancy Ike better-known as Chika Ike is a well-known Nigerian Nollywood actress, author, filmmaker, TV Host, entrepreneur, executive producer, and a philanthropist.
Early Life
Chika Ike was born in the 1980s to Mr. and Mrs. Ike’s lovely family. She was born on November 8, 1985, in Onitsha, Anambra State. Anambra State is a state in Nigeria’s south-eastern region.
Chika attended Anambra State for her primary and secondary education. She received both her First School Leaving Certificate and her West African Senior Certificate there.
Chika completed a two-year diploma program in Human Kinetics and Health Education at the prestigious University of Lagos (UniLag). She began the program in 2004 and finished in 2006.
Having graduated from the reputed University of Lagos with a Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education. Chika went on to earn a degree in the same field from the same university.
Chika Ike went on to study filmmaking in 2014. She attended and graduated from the prestigious New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California.
Chika went on to earn a degree from Harvard Business School.
Career
Unofficially, Chika Ike began at a younger age. She began performing in church dramas and plays when she was just six years old.
Chika completed her secondary education and began modeling at the age of 16.
Her official career began in 2005, when she joined the Nigerian film business (Nollywood). Her first film roles were in “Bless the Child” and “Chikere’s Sweet Love.”
Chika rose to prominence shortly after entering the film industry. This is, of course, related to her acting style – how she explained movie roles.
Notably, Chika founded and runs Chika Ike Production, a production firm she founded and runs. The first film made by this production firm was “Miss Teacher.”
Again, Chika founded the African Diba Reality TV Show, which she also established and manages.
Chika founded the Help a Child Foundation in 2011, a non-governmental organization dedicated to assisting the poor and deprived, giving them hope and giving back to society.
The following year, she launched “Nancy Fancy,” a fashion line she founded in Abuja, Nigeria.
