In Q4 2023, Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, and Rivers states received the most foreign investments.
The National Bureau of Statistics reported this in the Q4 2023 Nigeria Capital Importation report.
Lagos State got the biggest amount of foreign investment, $771.68 million, accounting for 65.38 percent of total capital importation, with a monthly increase of 66.77 percent to $1,060.73.
This is followed by Abuja (FCT) with $370.80 million, or 34.07 percent, and Rivers State with US$6.00 million, or 0.55%.
According to the Daily Post, the three states had comparable results in Q3 2023.
The development indicated that international investors’ confidence increased over the evaluation period.
