According to reports, a Nigerian juju band was abducted while traveling back from an event along the Lokoja-Abuja route.

The singer claimed that the kidnappers are requesting a ransom of N10 million for every member of the band.
Adeboye also shared the pictures of the victims while calling for help.
“May God in His Infinite mercy bring you guys back home in peace in Jesus Name. GOD pls bring these your children back home,” he wrote.
“This is so so scary. God have mercy @omobadejumbobeats and his band men were kidnapped on their way to Kogi from Abuja for performance yesterday, please we need help as the kidnappers are demanding #10m ransom on each person.”
When contacted by newsmen, Josephine Adeh, the FCT police spokesperson, said the force is not aware of the incident.
“Within Abuja, we have not heard any such report from our end. There is a need for me to also confirm if there is anything of such. Probably nobody has come to report, or they have not informed us yet,” she said.
On his part, William Ovye Aya, the Kogi police PRO, said: “I have not received such a report. But I will find out. Such a thing did not happen. One issue with people is even Abuja jurisdiction is also Abuja-Lokoja road. People do not know which jurisdiction to mention.”
