Aliko Dangote, Africa’s wealthiest individual and business mogul, who just re-entered the exclusive club of the world’s top 100 billionaires, has dropped below the $16 billion mark and thus quit the top 100 world-rich list.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his net worth has dropped by $1.6 billion, from $17.4 billion on September 1 to $15.8 billion as of press time.
According to Bloomberg, the fall signals a significant shift in Dangote’s financial situation, following a period of spectacular development from June 25 to September 1, when his net worth increased from $15.1 billion to $17.4 billion.
