Apostle Johnson Suleman, born on March 24, 1971, is a well-known Edo State-born preacher. He serves as the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, a church based in Auchi, Edo State. Johnson Suleman is also a televangelist and a Nigerian businessman. In 2004, he founded “Omega Fire Ministries.” He considers Enoch Adeboye, a fellow Nigerian pastor, to be his “spiritual father.”
Early Life and Education
He was born in Benin City, Edo State, to a Muslim father and a Christian mother, and had both his primary and secondary education there. He holds a degree in mass communication as well as a doctorate in human capital development, though the names of the institutions are unknown. His parents are from Edo State’s Etsako-West Local Government Area. Elder Imoudu Suleman, his father, was a well-known Muslim, and his mother was a Christian and a police officer. His parents later divorced, and he was raised solely by his mother. There is no information about his siblings.
Johnson Suleman is said to be an extraordinary child from birth because, shortly after his birth, some prophets from the city of Warri came to visit his parents and announced to them that he would be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of his parents’ religious background, they did everything they could to prevent him from playing the Christian part.
During his early days, he joined the Brotherhood confraternity group, hoping to find people who would act as a family for him. Despite being Lilly-livered, he had to pay others to carry out his cultism assignment for him. Despite attending Islamic classes with his father, he grew to love the things of God. He knew in his heart that he had a higher calling and that this was not the right role for him.
Career
Suleman, the Apostle, is a well-known preacher. Author of several books, musician, and entrepreneur with investments in various sectors of the economy. He is the CEO of several companies, including Hossana Oil and Gas, Celebration TV, and Voice of Fire Radio. He is also said to own a publishing company, an educational institution, and a water production plant.
Personal Life
He is married to Lizzy Johnson Suleman, a fellow minister with whom he shares the pulpit. Prior to the controversies that surrounded him in 2015, he was said to have submitted himself to the ministerial oversight of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and a protégée of the late Archbishop Idahosa. In that capacity, he has recently been linked to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Controversy
Johnson Selman is well-known for his controversial prophecies, many of which came true, his clash with the DSS when he spoke to the Fulani Cattle pastoralists again, and, most recently, his spat with Stephenie Otobo, a Canadian-based artist who accused him of having sexual affairs with her.
