Ibrahim Suleiman is a Nigerian Nollywood actor whose full name is Ibrahim Onimisi Suleiman. He also works as a choreographer, architect, Content Developer, TV host, and voice-over artist. Ibrahim has appeared in a number of films, most notably the Netflix series Blood Sisters.
Early Life & Education
Ibrahim Suleiman was born in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria, on September 25, 1983. He was born into Mr. and Mrs. Suleiman’s family. He studied architecture at Zaria’s Ahmadu Bello University.
Career
Ibrahim Suleiman used to enjoy dancing in his spare time. He began dancing when he was 18 years old, while attending university. After eleven years as a professional dancer, he decided to pursue acting.
Michael Jackson’s MTV Awards performance in 1995 inspired Ibrahim Suleiman. His dance team, ‘Soul Quest,’ won the primary Malta Guinness Street Dance National Championship in 2008.
Because of their victory, they were given the opportunity to represent Nigeria in a few international competitions. That was his first taste of show business, and it led to him becoming a full-fledged ambassador for Malta Guinness. He has used his dancing in advertisements for MTN, Unilever, GTBank, and other well-known companies. He co-starred in the award-winning television series Tinsel with Linda Ejiofor.
Ibrahim changed his profession after years of professional dancing and ventured into acting. Ibrahim is now one of Nollywood’s top actors, with a special talent for portraying realistic characters in films.
