Queen Mercy Atang, a former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Shine Ya Eyes’ contestant, married her fiancé, David Oyekanmi.
On Wednesday, the pair celebrated their traditional wedding in her birthplace of Akwa Ibom.
The reality star recorded images from the occasion on Instagram.
The bride donned a lovely blue dress, while the groom wore a blue agbada.
Queen rushed to Instagram to introduce herself as “Mrs. Oyekanmi Adedeji.” and to praise her husband.
David posted images from their traditional wedding ceremony on Instagram, captioned “Officially Mr and Mrs Oyekanmi Hitched Traditionally.” Paid in full!!!”
Queen and David became engaged in February.
The reality TV personality praised her spouse for “bringing immense joy into my life”.
“God acted according to his timing. I’ve consistently prayed for guidance in building a loving family, fulfilling roles as a wife, mother, and follower of his teachings. His response came in due time,” she wrote.
