Coroner Summons Naira Marley, Sam Larry And Primeboy over Mohbad’s Death

The Lagos Coroner has summoned music artistes Abdulazeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, Owodunni Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, to testify over the death of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, summoned the musicians to appear before the court on October 25.

 

The coroner has also taken the testimony of two police officials, the Investigating Officer, Oderinde-Gafar Ajibola, and Muhammed Yusuf, both of whom are assigned to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, on the police findings in the case.

They told the coroner in their testimony that there was no indication that Naira Marley and Sam Larry assaulted Mohbad. They also stated that there is no connection between Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the nurse who gave Mohbad the shot, and the two artists.

The coroner was also advised that an autopsy was not done in order to ascertain the cause of Mohbad’s death.

The Coroner then directed the officers to ensure that the music artists summons appear in court on the next adjourned date.
