David Hundeyin was born on May 6, 1990, in Lagos State, Nigeria, in the country’s southwestern geopolitical zone. He was born and raised in Lagos State. On April 14, 2021, David Hundeyin called on Dr. Isa Pantami, Minister of Communication, to resign from his position after receiving a leaked voice record revealing the minister’s involvement in the Boko Haram insurgency terrorizing the country. David Hundeyin announced on Twitter that he will upload an unedited audio recording of a sermon Dr. Isa Pantami delivered in Bauchi in 2006, in which he publicly supported the Afghan Taliban and Al Qaeda in their efforts to assassinate “unbelievers” and impose Sharia law.
