Governor Seyi Makinde’s Daughter Graduates from Yale University

Tobi, daughter of Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde, just graduated from Yale University in the United States.

The governor shared images on social media from the ceremony, accompanied by his wife and family members.

He also complimented his daughter on her new accomplishment, saying that her “hard work and diligence paid off”.

“Congratulations, my darling Tobi on your graduation from Yale University yesterday. Your hard work and diligence paid off,” he wrote.

“Wishing you all the best as you embark on a new chapter of your life and I’m also glad that I have one less school fees to pay.”

This increases the number of children of renowned Nigerians who have graduated from international universities.

Mayo Daniels, son of former Ogun state governor Gbenga Daniels, received a master’s degree in real estate from the University of London in 2022.

Muhammad Sanusi, former Emir of Kano, confirmed his son’s graduation from the University of Portsmouth that same year.

Jordan, the son of FCT minister Nyesom Wike, earned a law degree from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom in the same year.

In 2021, the son of Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers state, graduated from a Canadian university.
