Halimatu Ibrahim Ayinde (born May 16, 1995) is a Nigerian professional footballer who currently plays for Eskilstuna United DFF and the Nigeria women’s national team, Super Falcons.

Halimatu Ayinde was born on the 16th of May, 1995, in Kaduna State, which falls among the states in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Career
Professional Career
The American team Western New York Flash purchased Halimatu Ayinde from the Delta Queens on June 15, 2015. She made her debut in a 1-0 loss to the Houston Dash before being replaced in the 79th minute. She was released on May 12, 2016, after a season with the team in which she appeared in nine games, including five starts.
Halimatu Ayinde acknowledged performing poorly in her first season with the Flash, but thought she had improved in the 2016 preseason after scoring against the University of Vermont’s A team.
Later that year, she joined FC Minsk of the Belarusian Premier League, where she made her debut on September 2 against Bobruichanka Bobruisk, winning 3-0. Three Minsk players scored during the game, including her, and she later played in UEFA Women’s Champions League matches for the team. She continued to play well in her first few games, and in her third game for Minsk, she scored the game-winning goal on the road against Nadezhda Mogilev.
International Career
Halimatu Ayinde was a member of the Nigerian women squad that won the 2014 African Women’s Championship as well as the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
