Davido, the Nigerian artist, has revealed how he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, reacted after learning they were having twins.
It was recently revealed that the couple had a kid, almost a year after the death of Ifeanyi, their three-year-old son.
On Friday, a video emerged showing Davido and Chioma leaving the hospital with their newborn twins.
In an interview, Davido confirmed the pregnancy and opened out about the difficulties he endured after the death of his son.
He was astounded that his son died in October 2022, only for the twins to arrive in the same month in 2023.
He also highlighted the importance of having faith and a supportive team that helps a person stay focused.
“It is very hard. A lot of people who those things happened to, you will never want to believe in God ever in your life,” he said.
“But to still have faith and to still be able to do what I love, having a great team around me, just focusing and now we are almost at the finish line.
“When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month. My son passed last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October so it is crazy.”
In March, Davido confirmed his marriage to Chioma.
The singer has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry.
