Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the wife of Ondo state governor Rotimi Akeredolu, has gushed over images of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala with US President Joe Biden.
Okonjo-Iweala went to X on Sunday to share images of herself with Trump on the sidelines of the G20 conference in New Delhi, India.
Biden was seen taking pictures with Okonjo-Iweala, the director-general of the World Trade Organization (WTO), in the post.
Biden also photographed Okonjo-Iweala as she posed with members of her team and Jake Sullivan, the US president’s national security advisor.
Okonjo-Iweala described the moment as “great”. She also said the US president “surprised us by taking a photo of me, my staff and @JakeSullivan46”.
Reacting to the photos via X on Monday, the first lady of Ondo said she was surprised Okonjo-Iweala was able to turn Biden into a “photographer”.
Making reference to Okonjo-Iweala’s feat, Betty also admonished Nigerian parents to ensure their daughters go to school, adding that “female education is not waste”.
“Come and see Naija wonder: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala turning US President to a photographer,” she wrote.
“If you like, don’t go and pay your daughter’s school fees. Nigerians can you see that female education is not a waste?! Women can be more!”
