Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has claimed to be the “flyest man on earth.”
The term “flyest” refers to a high-ranking individual with strong financial skills and assertiveness.
On Wednesday, the ‘Superstar’ hitmaker shared an Instagram story highlighting his personality.
He wrote, “Flyest nigga on earth,” without providing any context to back up his boast.
The post was released shortly after the musician and his manager and baby mom, Jada Pollock, attended Paris Fashion Week.
Wizkid, born Ayodeji Balogun, rose to popularity in the music industry in 2011 with the release of his debut album ‘Superstar’.
He has since released four more albums, including ‘Ayo (Joy)’ in 2014, ‘Sound From The Other Side’ in 2017, ‘Made In Lagos’ in 2020, and ‘More Love, Less Ego’ in 2022.
He expressed interest in organizing an event to commemorate the 13th anniversary of his breakthrough album, ‘Superstar’.
He is also preparing to release his sixth album, ‘Morayo’, which is dedicated to his late mother.
Wizkid is regarded as one of Nigeria’s three most successful contemporary artists.
In April, the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker caused a stir on social media by mocking Davido and Don Jazzy.
Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy, the Mavin Records president, as a “influencer” while mocking Davido with a video showing him on his knees, imploring and wailing.
