Bolanle Ninalowo, a Nigerian actor, has accepted responsibility for his 18-year marriage to Bunmi.
Ninalowo declared the termination of his marriage to Bunmi in September, citing irreconcilable differences.
During a recent TVC interview, the actor discussed his role in the divorce.
He admitted responsibility for the separation and stated his intention to accept responsibility for his actions.
“Was I mostly responsible? Oh yes, I am. I take responsibility for everything that happens to me. What somebody else does is none of your problem. It is me,” he said.
The actor, however, did not reveal details of the specific issues that led to the separation.
In October, Ninalowo dismissed rumours that he might have cheated on or assaulted his wife.
“The truth has no lies in it, number one. And number two, you cannot wear a mask for six months, not even saying a year or five years,” he said.
“In the past five, six, seven years have you heard of infidelity about me? Have you heard of domestic violence?”
Ninalowo recently fueled relationship rumors with his colleague Damilola Adegbite after he posted a video of their combined gym session on social media.
The affectionate footage was released a month after the actor declared that he had found love again.
