Lilian Esoro is a Nigerian Nollywood actress, businesswoman, and television personality. She began her acting career in 2005, when she appeared in the soap opera Extended Family, which was cast by her friend Bovi, and also in the TV series Clinic Matters, where she played Nurse Abigail. Lilian was named best actress in the comedy category at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Early Life and Education
Lilian Esoro was born in Lagos State on February 13, 1982. She is, however, a native of Imo State in Nigeria’s south-east. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Esoro, raised her as the youngest of seven children. Uche Esoro, her brother, is the CEO of Duchis Dredging & Construction Limited.
For her Ordinary National Diploma, she studied Integrated Science at Bida Polytechnic in Niger State. She also holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja.
Career
Lilian Esoro made her acting debut in 2005. She was a member of Bovi’s soap opera’s “Extended Family” cast. She did an excellent job in her role and was quickly cast as Nurse Abigail in the hit TV show “Clinic Matters.”
Lilian Esoro has appeared in a number of popular television shows and films. “Taste of Love,” “The Alter Date,” “The Next Door Neighbour,” “Tinsel,” “Fool’s Paradise,” “Trapped in Between,” and “Love Battle” are among them. She also appeared in the hit film produced by Toyin Abraham.

Personal Life
In November 2015, Lilian Esoro married Ubi Franklin, a Nigerian politician and the CEO of Made Men Music (MMM). He is also a Special Adviser on Tourism to Cross River State Governor Benedict Ayade. Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro decided to divorce in January 2020, only a year into their marriage. The couple split up a few months after their son, Jayden Neatochukwu, was born. Their divorce was legally finalized in February 2021.
According to Lilian Esoro, one of the reasons for his divorce was his emotional detachment. Infidelity and physical abuse, according to some accounts, were also factors in the marriage’s demise.

There have been reports that Lilian Esoro and Nigerian footballer Odion Jude Ighalo are dating. When Lilian shared a photo with the message, “Candid moments are the best!”, The boo gets me always” in June 2021. It seemed as though the two of them were together, which intensified the rumours.
