Michael Sani Amanesi, also known as Barrister Mike or Mc Lively, is a Nigerian Instagram and YouTube comedian, actor, and event host/MC. He graduated from ‘Great Ife,’ the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State, as a lawyer, solicitor, and advocate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was called to the bar in 2016, but opted to be in front of the camera rather than wear his wig and gown. Mc Lively claims that his legal training has helped him become a smart, lively, and engaging comedian.

Early Life & Education

Mc Lively was born on August 14, 1970, into a family of seven, and grew up in Ile-Ife, Osun State. He was born in Agenebode, Edo State.

Micheal attended Ideal Nursery & Primary School in Ile-Ife before continuing his education at Moremi High School.

He took the jamb three times before enrolling at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun state, where he studied law. Although Mc Lively had always wanted to read mass communication in school, OAU did not offer the course.

He graduated in 2015 and attended law school for a year before being admitted to the bar in 2016.

According to Mc Lively, his mother beat him and used a razor blade to cut his body and rubbed pepper on the wounds because he and his brother left their youngest sibling, who was a baby, unattended. After their mother had abandoned him for them to care for.

Sani Micheal said his mother beat him so badly that he thought he was adopted. One day, he called her mother and asked if she was truly his biological mother. Among Mc lively’s siblings, he was the only one who attended a public school. Her mother told him that enrolling him in a private school would be too expensive.

Career

He began acting at the age of seven and by the age of seventeen, he was known for his extreme enthusiasm in his adolescence and was given the name Lively – a name he still goes by several years later.

He has dedicated his life to being a fantastic Event Host and Comedian.

Lively has hosted over 200 events in various Nigerian states and is well-known for his high level of professionalism; he strives for excellence in all of his events.

Mc Lively started out as a stand-up comedian, but it was a huge failure. One day, he cracked a joke, and even his girlfriend, who was in the audience, didn’t laugh.

He could not sleep that night, this happened about four times while he was at the university. Later, Mc Lively discovered he was better at comic acting than at stand-up comedy.

Micheal Sani rose to prominence following the release of his comedy video “Agidi,” which focused on the country’s fuel scarcity.

According to Mc Lively, he was thinking about that video while in church. The reverend father was talking about Nigeria and the inspiration to make that skit came from his sermon. He wrote the script in church and told his brother that he needed to shoot the skit that same day evening; it was late, but it was time-sensitive at the time, so he did it, and that’s how it was accepted and people gave mc lively AGIDI.

There is one physical difference between McLynn and other comedians: he is a lawyer. He makes a difference, he addresses societal issues, and he gets angry like no other. People do similar things, but the way he performs his skits is quite unique.
