Mercy Chinwo’s Husband Uzochikwa Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree

The Nigerian preacher and spouse of the musician Mercy Chinwo, Blessed Uzochikwa, has received an honorary doctorate degree.

On May 13, he received the diploma from Myles Leadership University in India.

The university, with its main campus in Telangana India, awarded the IT expert an “honoris causa” in Technology, Leadership, and Innovation.

Receiving the honorary degree, Uzochikwa thanked the management of the university.

“I dedicate this award to my mum and everyone out there going through a dark moment,” he said.

 

Uzochikwa is a lead pastor at the Lagos-based Waterbrook Church.

He is a Microsoft-certified IT personality and a project manager.

It is well known that Uzochikwa has collaborated with numerous global corporations, such as Tetrapak, AstraZeneca, and Microware Solutions/IBM partners.

In 2008, he graduated from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) with a BSc in Computer Science.

Since then, Stanford University in California and other educational institutions have awarded him a number of IT credentials.

Uzochikwa co-founded Four-X International, an African information and communication technology firm with local presences in Nigeria, in 2016. Four-X International is now known as Thrive Technologies.

 

“Uzochikwa is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to enable youth-driven digitisation and business transformation,” the pastor’s profile reads.

“He believes his imprints and influence will be home to over twenty million of the leading and finest next-generation trained and empowered entrepreneurs before December, 31st, 2050.”
