Nigerian Singer, Tems Trends Over Outfit To Oscar Awards

Tems, an award-winning Nigerian singer, has gone viral on social media for her Oscars attire from 2023.

The ceremony was place on Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre, In Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.

The Afrobeats diva looked stunning in a Lever Couture gown with a very obstructive headpiece.

The 27-year-old songstress, who co-wrote Rihanna‘s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ track ‘Lift Me Up‘, which was nominated for the ‘Best Original Song’ category, however, stole the show after her outfit literally took up space.

‘Lift Me Up’ is a rather soulful ‘Black Panther’ theme song that evokes deep feelings of transcendence.

Rihanna collaborated on the song’s composition alongside Tems, producer Ludwig Göransson, and director Ryan Coogler.

The song was written in honor of Chadwick Boseman, the ‘Black Panther’ star who died in 2020.

Despite losing her category, Rihanna began to gain notice on social media for her voluminous white gown that she wrapped around the back of her head.

The lovely headdress appeared to be a source of concern for the guest seated behind Tems.
