Forbes Magazine has released its yearly list of the 15 richest female celebrities in the United States, based on 2022 earnings. Oprah, Rihanna, and Kim K lead the list.
You already know who is at the top, so no one is surprised because it is, once again, Oprah Winfrey. With $2.5 billion, the 69-year-old mogul and talk show host.
Rihanna comes in second with $1.4 billion, having made the most of her money from Fenty Beauty, her make-up business, which is expected to treble in sales by 2022.
Reality TV star and Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian comes in third place with $1.2 billion. Her 35 percent interest in Skims shapewear accounts for a sizable amount of her fortune.
The list also includes singer Taylor Swift with $740 million; social media star Kylie Jenner with $680 million; Queen of Pop Madonna with $580 million; singer Beyonce with $540 million; singer Celine Dion with $480 million; singer-songwriter Dolly Parton with US$440 million; and actress-producer Reese Witherspoon, 47, with $440 million.
This year’s addition to the list is showrunner Shonda Rhimes, who is behind the smash Netflix series “Bridgerton” as well as long-running dramas like “Grey’s Anatomy.” With $250 million, she is ranked 15th.
According to Forbes, the 15 women on the list have a collective net worth of US$10.8 billion.
