The Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has been declared the winner of the state governorship election.

 

According to results collated by INEC, Eno polled a total of 356,348 votes to defeat Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), who came second with 136,262 votes. Akan Udofia of the All Progressives Congress came third with 129,602 votes.

Umo Eno, a Nigerian pastor, businessman, politician, and the founder and CEO of Royalty Group, was born on May 10th, 1964 in Akwa Ibom State, a state in southern Nigeria.

Pastor Umo Eno has worked for Bertola Machine Tools, a company he worked for between 1985 and 1990, in addition to Union Bank of Nigeria.

Pastor Umo founded Royalty Group in 1997 after working as the General Manager of Norman Holdings Limited between 1990 and 1997.

Bassy Umo Eno is the General Overseer of All Actions Christian Ministry International and is currently the Honorable Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources in Akwa Ibom State.
