PHOTOS: Tricycle Rider Praised for Returning N330k Found on the Road in Kano

The Kano state police command has commended a tricycle rider, Bala Abdulrahman, who recently found N330,000 on the road and returned the money to the police in the Fagge Division of the state on June 19.


The police said Abdulrahman who is a resident of Gunduwawa, Gezawa LGA reported himself at Fagge Police Division, and said that while he was going about his business of riding his Tricycle, he saw a suspicious item in a black leather by the roadside along Kwanar Dawaki in Dawakin Kudu LGA. Abdulrahman picked the money and took it to the police station. An announcement was made for the owner to come forward to claim the money.


In a statement released today June 22, the state police command said a man who claimed to be the owner came forward and after a thorough investigation, the money was handed over to him while Abdulrahman was commended for his honesty and handed a plaque.
