He was born and raised in Enugu, where he completed both his elementary and secondary education. He currently holds both the First School Leaving Certificate and the West African Senior School Certificate.
Prince continued his education at the prestigious Abia State University, Uturu, where he earned a degree in Theatre Arts. Notably, during his time at university, he was an active member of his department’s theater club.
Early Career
Prince Nwafor’s career in the film industry changed after he graduated from university. As it was, he entered the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood, in 2003.
In 2003, the movie star joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria in Enugu and began attending auditions in Lagos, Enugu, Asaba, and anywhere else there were movie auditions.
He kept going to movie auditions until he got minor movie roles as a house boy, bodyguard, servant, palace guard, and other minor roles.
Furthermore, he appeared in minor roles until he rose to prominence after appearing in the 2009 Nollywood film, which later became a blockbuster. “Forgive Me Father” was his first film.
