The well-known Yoruba actress Kiitan Bukola has talked candidly about her broken engagement.
In November 2022, Bukola announced her engagement to her partner.
But in a recent interview with Debbie Shokoya, a colleague, Bukola revealed she called off the engagement because of her partner’s adultery.
The actress recounted her experience of sharing a bed with a lady she met in his home while pretending to be his girlfriend.
Bukola listed numerous instances of his impolite actions and said she ended the relationship because she could no longer put up with it.
The movie star debunked rumours that she insulted his mother.
“I broke up with him. I left the relationship and when I was leaving, I actually dropped the ring with a note,” Bukola said.
“I left because I was tired and I couldn’t stand it anymore. The disrespect was just too much.
“I have never insulted his mother and I never will. When my fiance was sick he did not tell me, he called another lady to come take care of him.
“It was his mother who told me that he was sick and when I came down to see him, I met the lady there and we both slept on the same bed.”
Bukola is a graduate of business management from UNISA, a business school in Pretoria.
Since her debut in the Yoruba film industry in 2010, she has continued to enjoy fame.
She has starred in several movies such as ‘Ola’, ‘Ere Oran’, ‘Surface’, ‘Tayawo’, and ‘Ewon Ife’.
