Temi Otedola, an actress, claims that she has never been poorer than $1200.
Temi was recently asked about the “brokest she has ever been” in a conversation with Korty Wasiu.
Temi responded simply, “$1,200.”
She claimed that when she was 15, her mother informed her that she would no longer receive pocket money and that she would be required to work.
She claimed to have worked in three retail businesses, where she spent long hours folding garments and getting stuff from the stockroom.
She added that she earned $1200 and was proud of it.
“One summer when I was 15, my mum basically said that this is the year we stop giving you pocket money. If you want any money for summer, you have to go and work,” she said.
“So that summer I went to work in retail stores, I worked in three different retail stores like just folding clothes, you go to the stockroom to get clothes, I stand on the shop floor for 12 hrs.
“At the end of that summer, I made $1200, and I was proud of that.”
