UI Alumnus Bags Ibadan Chieftaincy Title

Professor Kayode Adebowale, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, has stated that the university is proud of one of its alumni, Mr. Saheed Oladele.

Oladele is the Chairman of the Erudite Group in Ibadan, which includes Erudite Millennium Ltd, Erudite Model High School, and Erudite International Knowledge Village.

Our correspondent gathered that the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mohood Ọlálékan Balogun, Allí-Okunmade II is ready to install Oladele as the Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland.

The event has been scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Olubadan’s Alarere Palace.

The distinguished title of Baamk represents a significant acknowledgement of Oladele’s remarkable contributions to education, both locally and globally.

In his congratulatory letter, Adebowale stated that Oladele’s alma mater, the University of Ibadan, is fully behind him.

He prayed to God to continue to strengthen the Erudite Group Chair.

He said, “Congratulations and congratulations and again congratulations my dear brother and friend

God Almighty will continue to strengthen your hands in order to continue to impact the society positively

“The University of Ibadan, your Alma mater is solidly behind you sir. Congratulations”.
