US Actor Kevin Costner’s Wife of 18 Years is Filing for Divorce

Christine Baumgartner, the wife of Kevin Costner, the US actor, has filed for divorce after 18 years of marriage.

According to TMZ, Christine filed the suit to end their union on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Costner’s representative also told the news outlet that the situation is “beyond the actor’s control.”

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired,” Costner’s representative said.

“This has resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.

“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

The 49-year-old businesswoman is reportedly asking for joint custody of their kids but not for spousal support.
