US YouTuber Kai Cenat to Build School for Kids in Makoko

Kai Cenat, a US content creator, plans to create a new school for children in Makoko.

Makoko is a heavily inhabited waterfront slum on the Lagos Lagoon notable for its stilted and floating houses.

In a recent video, Cenat stated, “I have begun working on building the school.”

The 22-year-old YouTuber stated that he requires people who can work on the project and obtain quality equipment.

“The procedure of creating this new school in Nigeria was formally approved today. He said, “It’s a go go.”

“So this new school in Makoko, Nigeria, is for the children who live there. I’ve started working on the school.

“And right now, if you are in Nigeria and know the best people who can get the paint job done well, have the necessary equipment, and are prepared to get their hands dirty for the proper amount of money, please let me know.

“They’re working extremely hard right now, removing what needs to be removed to get the school ready. I think I’ll document this and turn it into a video.

Cenat traveled to Nigeria for the first time early this month. Shank, the Nigerian skit creator, facilitated his travel.

The two spent three days in Lagos’ Makoko district.

The YouTuber apparently donated $3,000 to a school project in the floating slum.

Cenat, born Kai Carlo Cenat III, is a US-based online streamer and YouTuber.

He is most recognized for his live streaming and comedy-related videos on YouTube.

He won ‘Streamer of the Year’ at the 2023 Streamer Awards.
