Victoria Kolawole Biography: Career, Personal Life, and Net Worth

Victoria Kolawole (born February 1, 1990) is a Nigerian actress, film producer, and businesswoman. She is best known for her role in the 2013 film “Owuro Mi,” which catapulted her to fame. Victoria is known by several aliases, most of which are derived from movie roles she has played, including “ChaCha,” “Omo Alhaja,” “Omo Gaga,” “Abike,” and “Omo Oluweri.”

Early Life and Education

Victoria was born on February 1, 1990, in Oke Aro, Akure, Ondo State, and is also an Ondo State native. She received her primary and secondary education in Ondo State, where she attended Unity Secondary School in Owo and earned her Secondary School Leaving Certificate. She went on to study Political Science at the University of Benin in Edo State, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011.

Career

In 2013, she produced her debut film, “Owuro Mi,” directed by renowned Yoruba movie director and actor Ibrahim Yekini (Itele d’icon) and edited by acclaimed editor Segun Oshoko. This was the start of her career in Nigeria’s Nollywood film industry.

In 2017, she produced the well-known Yoruba crime film “Omo Alhaja,” written by renowned author and producer Olatunji Balogun and directed by well-known Yoruba actor and director Adebayo Tijani. Because of the success of the film, she earned one of her nicknames, “Omo Alhaja,” which is also the name of the character she played in the film. The cast of the film was impressive, with renowned celebrity actor Odunlade Adekola, seasoned actor and author Yinka Quadri, and well-known Yoruba actress Fausat Balogun among them.

Victoria Kolawole wrote and produced a new blockbuster Yoruba film titled “Cha Cha” in 2019. Muyideen Ayinde directed the film, which starred Eniola Badmus, Saidi Balogun, Olaniyi Afonja (Sanyeri), and Murphy Afolabi.

Personal Life

Victoria is not known to be married or to have kids, but she got engaged in Dubai in September 2018. Since then, there has been no information about her marriage, and it has not been publicly announced or refuted.
