Davido, the Afrobeats musician, delivered an electrifying performance of his hit songs at a Spotify-hosted party in Lagos over the weekend.
Spotify’s annual ‘Wrapped Party’ was held last Saturday at The Palms in Lekki, and it was a night to remember.
The event commemorated Spotify’s yearly evaluation of the music that moved people throughout the year.
The atmosphere was electric from the moment attendees arrived inside the venue. The who’s who of Nigerian media, influencers, and music business stakeholders mingled with ecstatic fans, anticipating a night of excellent vibes and even greater music.
The hosts, Jerry Shafer and MIA, kept the celebration going all night. The dance floor immediately filled up with people eager to show off their moves to the year’s greatest hits, allowing for an endless night of dancing.
YKB opened the show, followed by Qing Madi, one of Spotify’s EQUAL artists, who added a soothing touch with her lovely voice and deep tunes.
Gyakie also took the stage with an emotionally charged performance before Adekunle Gold wows the audience with an outstanding performance!
With anticipation at an all-time high, the stage welcomed Davido, who sang his hit songs one after the other, driving the audience into a frenzy. Fans chanted along to every word, bouncing and jumping to his music’s seductive beats. Notably, his new signees, Logos Olori and Morravey, joined him on stage to sing songs from his new album, TIMELESS.
