Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo state, and Johnny Drille have performed a duet to the singer’s hit tune ‘How Are You (My Friend)’.
Drille, who is from Edo state, paid Obaseki a visit recently, and the footage of their encounter was published on Instagram.
The governor was seen in the video greeting the singer with his song words “how are you, my friend?”
The video also ended with the pair vibing to the track.
Obaseki said the meeting was to discuss how “to support young talent in the creative sector, having built a state-of-the-art facility with the Victor Uwaifo creative hub”.
“I was thrilled to have one of the nation’s best musical talents and my friend, @johnnydrille, visit today! We have built a state of the art facility with the @victoruwaifocreativehub,” he wrote.
“To support young talent in the creative sector and are excited for more young artists to create new experiences in our Hub.
“We remain committed to promoting arts in the State and keeping our innately creative youth positively engaged.”
