What Tiwa Savage Said About Not Supporting Fellow Female Artists

Tiwa Savage, the award-winning diva, has responded to charges that she does not support her music business colleagues.

Over the years, there has been some speculation that female musicians in the industry are not assisting or collaborating on projects.

Tiwa posted an image of a fan’s response on her Instagram account after announcing a song collaboration with Simi.

The user noted that there have been many collaborations between female entertainers, but the songs have always received poor streams.

“So Tiwa has obviously collaborated with more female artistes but they don’t stream female artistes collaborations and they want em collabo,” the user wrote.

The ‘Koroba’ singer, while agreeing with the user, also emphasised that she has had “a lot of collaborations with female artistes”.

“But they always want to say Tiwa Savage does not like or support female artistes. Please who has more female collabs and there is sooo many more not even listed here. Y’all miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle money on my mind,” she wrote.

Savage has collaborated with Waje on ‘Onye’ (2014), Ayra Starr on ‘Stamina’ (2023), and Di’Ja on ‘The Way You Are’ (2018).

The singer has established herself as one of the most important figures in the music industry.

Her music has been well received around the world. She has also received several honors.
