Abia’s Ada Eme Represents Nigeria at 71st Miss World

Ada Eme from Abia state is representing Nigeria in the 71st Miss World pageant.

The beauty pageant will feature 120 candidates from various countries around the world.

This year’s Miss World pageant began on February 18, with a three-week program of events held at several sites, including the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

Nigeria, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Kenya are among the African nations vying for the coveted title.

Others include Liberia, Lesotho, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Togo, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, among others.

Participants will compete in a variety of contests and philanthropic activities in order to win the famous crown and title.

Eme, who was crowned ‘Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)’ in 2022, will represent Nigeria at the pageant.

The 25-year-old model is from Amaogudu Abiriba, Ohafia local government area, Abia state.

She presently works as an event organiser and is pursuing a degree in Peace and Conflict.

Eme has established a scholarship named ‘Ada Goes to School’ that will provide 100 scholarships for children.

Her life slogan is “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footsteps on the moon”.

The big finale will take place on Saturday, March 9, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
