WATCH: Nigerian Singer Lamboginny Overjoyed As He Becomes US Citizen

Nigerian singer Yinka Lawanson, often known as Lamboginny, is pleased after becoming a citizen of the United States.

The singer shared an Instagram video of himself receiving his citizenship certificate, expressing his excitement.

In the video, the ‘My Year’ singer can be seen rolling on the floor in joy and thanking God for the accomplishment.

Lamboginny stated he was still in “disbelief” about how God transformed his life.

The 39-year-old also thanked his wife, Taccara, for supporting him throughout the process.

“Today I officially became an American citizen. Just look at God. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to God  Almighty and my beautiful Bambii for standing with me throughout the whole process,” he wrote.

“I have cried, danced, screamed in disbelief at how God turned my life around. I am a living testimony of God’s grace, thank you father for everything you have done for me.

“And special thanks to my beautiful Bambii for believing in me and coming on this journey with me. Love you so much. God is not done.”

 

A US citizenship can be obtained in four major ways, which include by birth, derivation, acquisition, and naturalization.
