Tawa Ajisefini, a Nollywood actress, and her spouse Mayowa Jamiu Alli have had their first child after a five-year wait.
On Friday, the actress rushed to Instagram to express her thankfulness to God and share that the newborn boy was born in the United States.
Tawa also accompanied the post with a song by Adeyinka Alaseyori, stating that “God intervenes in people’s lives at His appointed time.”
“All I Have To Say Is Alhamdulilah Robil-Al-Amin. Ose olorun anu,” she wrote.
“It’s a boy congratulations to us okomi.”
Alli’s Instagram story featured congratulatory remarks from friends and colleagues.
Tawa and Alli married the marriage in February 2019. The pair celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in February.
The actress described her relationship with Alli as “a crazy journey of life with happiness and hardship”.
“We’re on the crazy journey of life together lol. A marriage anniversary is the celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance, and tenacity,” she wrote.
“At times, we may be like fire and ice. But that just means one of us is making the other melt.
“Our anniversary will remind us of the happiest times of our relationship, but it will also remind us of the hardships we had through to get to those happy times.
“I wish you and I a happy, healthy, and lovely life together in the future.
“Happy 5th Anniversary to us. May the happiness of this day linger forever and till the last breath.”
Tawa is famous for her roles in Yoruba movies having featured in films like ‘Jenifa’, ‘Edaa’, Sino, and ‘Atiko’, among others.
