B-Red is the stage name of Nigerian musician, composer, and businessman Adebayo Adeleke. B-Red is a multi-genre performer who specializes in R&B and Afro Pop music. He is also well-known for being Davido, a well-known Nigerian music starcousin. ,’s Shina Rambo, his elder brother, also works for the HKN Music company. He is also the son of Ademola Adeleke, the governor-elect of Osun State in 2022.

Early Life and Education

Although B-Red was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 23, 1991, he is originally from Ede in Osun State, Nigeria. Ademola Adeleke, a senator from Nigeria and the incoming governor of Osun State, and Christiana Adeleke, a businesswoman living in the USA, are his parents. He received his education there. The public is unaware of the institutions he attended.


In order to further his musical career, B-Red and his cousin Davido moved to Nigeria in 2013. Years of his time with HKN have passed without him releasing an album; instead, in the middle of 2016, he only issued an extended play EP. The “All The Way Up” EP, which consists of eight songs, also includes six bonus tracks, most of which were previously released singles. However, between 2013 and 2015, he did release a handful of hits, including “Uju” and “Cucumber,” which he co-wrote with Akon.

When asked how he came up with his stage name, B-Red explained that it is a combination of “Bayo and Red,” where B stands for Bayo and Red for fair skin because of his appearance. In the United States, people with fair complexion are generally referred to as “red.”

In April 2019, B-Red worked with Mavin Records’ Don Jazzy and released two songs under the moniker “E Better.” And the talented performer Davido’s song “Achie.” B-Red released a brand-new studio album titled “The Jordan” on October 12, 2020. His father, Senator Ademola Adeleke, performed as a guest artist at the album’s introduction. Legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba was also a part of B-Red, along with other guest artists like Davido, Slimcase, Dremo, Sina Rambo, Mayorkun, and Peruzzi.

Personal Life

B-Red is married toFaith Johnson. Their union is blessed with a son named Jordan Adetato Oshioke Adeleke.


B-Red has been living a private life since he got married, which is the opposite of his previous affluent and party lifestyle. He announced the acquisition of his 120 million naira mansion in Lagos via his Instagram page in the previous year.
