Also speaking, D’banj said it is a “privilege for me to have inspired a generation of artistes, including A-listers and upcoming acts”.

“I am grateful to Almighty God and everyone who has been a critical part of my success story,” he said.

“This is not just a D’Banj celebration but an industry milestone, a pivotal moment to celebrate the growth of the Nigerian music culture across the globe as we see it today with Afrobeats.

“I am excited to continue to shape and mentor the younger ones. I’m excited to partner with The Temple Company to help position my legacy.

“My journey as an entertainer is a testament to the power of teamwork.

“It is a new chapter for me, especially with the right people who will help maximize my talent to its full potential. And yes, I’m not tired or done just yet; my journey just began.”

Idris Olorunnimbe, group chief executive (GCE), The Temple Company, said, the partnership between DKM and The Temple Company is “monumental for the industry”.

“We are excited to be a strategic partner joining DKM to create a robust experience around his 20th anniversary and help him inspire more people,” he said.
