Emmanuel Dennis was born on the 15th of November, 1997, in Yola, Adamawa State, which falls among the states in the North-Eaten geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
Dennis began his professional career in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, at the Kwara Football Academy. In March 2016, Dennis joined Ukrainian Premier League team Zorya Luhansk. He made his professional debut on July 24, 2016, in a game against Olimpik Donetsk, winning 3-0 thanks to a goal he scored.
Before making his UEFA Europa League debut on November 3 against Feyenoord, Dennis spent the majority of the first half of the season on the sidelines. The game ended 1-1.
