Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian businessman, claims he cannot marry a lady who is not a vIrgin.
In an unreleased episode of the Mic On Podcast, Nwoko revealed that he had been approached by numerous women for marriage.
The businessman stated that he declined to marry them because they did not match his conditions.
Regarding his marriage to Regina Daniels, he stated that he married the Nollywood actress because “we are from the same place”.
“My uncles have brought some local girls and they have been like marry this one but I said no, they do not meet what I want,” he said.
“I mean for her particularly, I married her because she is from my place. I cannot marry a woman who is not a virgin.”
Nwoko previously discussed his stance on polygamy, stating that marrying more women is “only a gesture that would eventually help society.” In 2019, at the age of 59, Nwoko married Daniels, who was then 19, as his sixth wife. Their marriage sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users arguing over their age difference.
Their union is blessed with two children.
