Korede Bello is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and composer. He signed a record deal with Mavin Records, which is owned by music producer Don Jazzy, in 2014. He is most known for the semi-gospel/pop song “Godwin,” which became a national anthem and topped numerous Nigerian music charts.

Early Life and Education

Korede Bello was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, on February 29, 1996, and attended primary and high school there. At the age of seven, he began performing under the stage name African Prince. He went on to study Mass Communication at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria, after receiving his West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate.

Career

The music sensation has always enjoyed music and began displaying musical abilities at an early age. According to reports, Korede wrote his first song when he was in primary school. His parents had enrolled him in music lessons since they saw his amazing ability. Korede began experimenting in the studio and recording music when he was in high school. This audacious attempt resulted in his debut single, Forever. The song received a lot of positive feedback from his fans and close friends.

He began holding the microphone and performing on stage when he was 13 years old. This opened the route for his later fame. On February 24, 2014, he signed his first record deal with Mavin Records, which is owned and managed by renowned music producer Don Jazzy.

Korede Bello shocked Africa a few months after signing a deal with Mavin Records with his smash singles Godwin and Mungo Park, followed by African Princess. Since his arrival, the young man has released singles and collaborated with top artists such as Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, and others.

Korede Bello is still thought to be single. He was rumored to be dating a lovely lady named Azaria Zia. Azaria Zia is a member of the Mavin crew. When the two posted the same picture of a kiss mark on Korede Bello’s face on their own networks, their relationship became suspect. “I finally could kiss you, sweetie,” Azaria Zia captioned the image, which Korede Bello retweeted. However, the musician has yet to disclose whether or not he is dating Mavin’s acquaintance.

The Afro-Pop vocalist is influenced by artists such as Asa and 2baba. Korede Bello was formerly linked to Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo. The rumour was never confirmed, but the two were apprehended several times together.

Many also believe Priscilla Ajoke Ojo is dating Lil Kesh, the former YBNL act.
