Abiola Akinbiyi, also known as Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian singer, says he is troubled by the killing of his comrade Mohbad and vows to pursue justice for his death.

Bella Shmurda broke the quiet just a few days after Mohbad, real name Ilerioluwa Aloba, was certified deceased, sparking speculation about how the singer died.

Shmurda joined the growing list of Nigerians who have remarked on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s murder in a series of tweets on X (previously known as Twitter), saying he is worried by the incident.

“In the past few days have tried my best not to carry my phone and type anything but Mohbad’s spirit won’t let me rest knowing I’m the only one who makes his spirit calm by making those of them who make him live in fear and almost with nothing to feed on never also get rest and he don start yes I mean wahaLa just wan start like this,” he wrote.

“Whatever it may be this boy sang for make us happy, jubilate, think, rejoice supported even while is in pain and living in fear now it’s our time to do our part for him. I want everyone with one voice, let’s get him justice, all hands on deck #justice for Mohbad fish dem out legal or illegal.”

The “Cash App” crooner demanded that the police arrest the CEO of Marlian Records, Naira Marley, and another of his accomplices, Sam Larry, who are alleged to have a hand in Mohbad’s death.

“I NO GO GREE (I will not agree) and I mean it Samlarry and whole Marlians music must be arrested make all of us Dey police and if the Nigerian police are too weak as a body to fish these people out we do it street, legal or illegal any which way like this war don start,” he added.

He also called on President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, to intervene in the circumstances that led to the death of the rapper.

“You’re the face of youth in this country and I know you’re a man of diligence and integrity. Please, activate before we go street on this matter. Police station no go contain all of us Ajeh,” he said.

Shmurda, who is set to tour in Canada, had announced the cancellation due to the recent sad event.
