Mohbad’s Wife, Omowunmi Agrees to DNA Test On Son

Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, has stated that she will do a DNA test on their baby, Liam.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12. He was laid to rest the next day.

On September 21, the body of the 27-year-old music star was unearthed for autopsy by a joint team of Lagos police and health officials.

The autopsy was performed the same day, and the police declared that they were awaiting the results.

Mohbad’s death has spurred debate on social media, including speculation over his son’s paternity.

Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has also stated his support for a DNA test to determine Liam’s “true” paternity.

Omowunmi recently told Iyabo Ojo that she would not comment on the continuing scenario until the coroner’s inquiry on November 7.

She stated that her goal is to avoid potential distractions and concentrate on obtaining justice for her late husband.

“Hello ma I have decided not to speak on anything until the 7th of November which is the coroner’s inquest because I do not want any side distraction,” she wrote.

“All I want is Justice for my husband which I believe the Nigerian government is working on, after everything I will either grant an interview or tell my own story before the whole world, and also DNA is definitely a must!!!”

The inquest began on October 13 at the Ikorodu magistrates’ court in Lagos.
